Whilst all of our patients have loving families and warm beds to sleep in when they go home,
we are well aware of the issues surrounding stray cats and kittens.
This overwhelming problem presents itself year after year, with litters of "accidental" babies being born,
and pregnant mothers walking the streets. 

We try to help in anyway we can, and we have developed the Hamilton Street Adoption Program,
whereby we raise, socialise, and love genuine stray kittens and cats.

We try to educate the general public on the importance of desexing cats,
to prevent this problem and believe that this issue will continue to repeat itself until people take responsibility for their pets.

Each Animal that is brought into our care, is desexed, microchipped,
wormed, vaccinated, (there is no exception to the rule) and placed in our adoption program to await their new homes.

In order to ensure they are re-housed to suitable families,
 they are not given away, but sold for below the cost of their treatment, at $195.

The vast majority of our adoptee's are Cats and Kittens, we have also found homes for Dogs and Puppies.

As of November 2010, we have placed 33 cats or kittens, in loving homes across Victoria. Not bad for 18months ;)
